Minnie’s Halloween Dine Returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2020
Hi everyone!
Disney announced this week that Minnie’s Halloween Dine will be returning to Hollywood & Vine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios beginning September 25th, 2020! There aren’t many character dining opportunities back yet and the experience will be different than when we posted a review in 2016.
First, Minnie’s Halloween Dine will not be a buffet, the food will be served at the table. Second, the characters will make appearances where you can see them but you won’t be meeting them in traditional interactions. We aren’t personally dining inside restaurants right now (so we won’t have a 2020 review), but it should be similar to how characters are making appearances at Topolino’s Terrace and Epcot’s Garden Grill.
Disney says that “You can wave and snap photos of your hostess, Minnie Mouse, dressed as a happy witch. Goofy is coming as a spooky cowboy, with Mickey Mouse as a funny vampire, and his best pal, Pluto, gets into the act wearing a cute Halloween collar.”
Guests will need not only a confirmed dining reservation, but a park reservation and valid admission for Disney’s Hollywood Studios on that day (for everyone in the party ages 3+) to dine at Minnie’s Halloween Dine. Dining reservations do not guarantee admission to the park.

Other Halloween offerings will be at Magic Kingdom beginning September 15th, 2020. Those will include cavalcades with characters, including villains on select days and the Dapper Dans returning as the Cadaver Dans (the latter starts on September 20th).
