Epcot Play! Pavilion Construction Update from August 21st, 2020 (Photos, Video)

Hi everyone!

I wanted to give a look at the Play! Pavilion construction over at Epcot – this is from Friday afternoon.  The photos and video are from both the ground and a few from the Disney Skyliner. Panels are being replaced and quite a few construction workers were on the project that day. There are some Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind photos at the end. I already posted France expansion pics in a different article. Here are the photos and video!

Disney has said that, the Play! Pavilion will be “unlike anything you’ve ever seen at the park. This new space will be devoted to playful fun and feature an innovative city that’ll come to life under the dome” of the former Wonders of Life building.

This building in more recent years was used as a festival center for the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival as well as the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival.

The Play! Pavilion is supposed to debut in time for the Walt Disney World 50th anniversary (October 2021).

I also took some photos of the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind construction. Nothing was happening visibly either time we passed it on this day.
