Gideon’s Bakehouse Construction Walls at Disney Springs in Anticipation of Late 2020 Opening (Photos)

We had posted in June about Gideon’s Bakehouse coming to Disney Springs. It will be the second location for this immensely popular bakery that has its original location in Orlando. The cookies are wonderful! I don’t get to Gideon’s Bakehouse often but was able to occasionally pick up one of their half-pound chocolate chip cookies when they were being sold at The Polite Pig. Not only will Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs offer the cookies and cake slices it is so known for, but an expanded menu of them plus its own line of unique iced coffees. Disney says of the upcoming flagship location that, “The ever-popular Coffee Cake Cookie (previously only available one month a year) will be on sale every morning, with a Hot Cookie Hour each evening for those looking to cure a sweet tooth after dinner. “. Here are photos from the future home of Gideon’s Bakehouse. I haven’t been to Disney Springs in a few weeks – I think the walls went up the day after we visited last.

Gideon’s Bakehouse will be located near Wine Bar George and Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar in the Landing area of Disney Springs.

Paradiso 37 can be seen in the photo as well. This is a terrific location in a central area of Disney Springs.

There are a variety of cookies on signage lining the walls.

Each sign says “Gideon’s Bakehouse: Dreadfully Good”.

This location is scheduled to open later next year. Of course, shops and restaurants are often a little later than planned anyway but right now schedules are also based on the current pandemic situation.
