Epcot France Expansion Photo & Video Update from July 27th, 2020
Hi everyone!
We took the Disney Skyliner yesterday and have some photos and video of the upcoming France expansion that will include Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Originally scheduled to open this summer, we don’t know when it actually will now – but work has been progressing since the parks reopened after 4 months closed due to the pandemic. Here are the photos and video.
First up, our video:
Taking the Disney Skyliner is a little different currently, with each party receiving their own cabin. This was the way it was for us in the days before the parks closed as well. Plus, if you want to leave the International Gateway and return to Epcot, security is much more pleasant with no hand bag checks.
This is a look as we leave.
There will be an authentic creperie. This is how La Creperie de Paris looked yesterday. The restaurant will include both table service and quick service options inspired by Brittany, France.
I had posted the Remy design in the railings before, it is cool to see from the Skyliner.
And here are a variety of photos from the ride back and forth.
The fountain can be seen ahead, I have closer photos later.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is based on a ride at Disneyland Paris, Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy.
We are heading back after reboarding at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.
Here is a look at the fountain that includes Remy faces and Remy with champagne bottles.
I am looking forward to the new expansion, whenever it is ready and able to open.
