Royal Princess Processional at Magic Kingdom Provides Socially Distanced Interactions (Photos, Video)
Hi everyone!
I have been posting the various cavalcades and processions around the Walt Disney World parks. Because there are no character meet and greets or stage shows currently, these processions have allowed guests to see and interact with their favorite characters from a safe distance. One of the most popular of these is the Royal Princess Processional at the Magic Kingdom. It is more like a mini-parade than many of the other cavalcades. And because these processions happen several times per day each, it is pretty easy to catch them. Here is a look at the Royal Princess Processional!
Merida rides on her horse Angus. The procession does travel from Frontierland to Town Square, and we’ve always been able to find a spot away from other guests. Thre is no schedule listed for any of the cavalcades or entertainment like when the Main Street Band comes through.
Here is our video and then photos.

Rapunzel and Princess Tiana are in the gazebo float. Splash Mountain is in the background, and it eventually will be rethemed to The Princess and the Frog.

The photos are from several days. Rapunzel is on the other side of the gazebo float.
The mirror float is a very longtime parade fixture and features many of the princesses on it – plus the Fairy Godmother.

Princess Aurora, Ariel, Belle and others can be seen on the float. Most of the princesses have had regular meet and greets at the Magic Kingdom.

And the ever-popular Fairy Godmother is the final character on the float.
You can find princesses also at Epcot in the Royal Princess Promenade and then Anna and Elsa in the Frozen Promenade. This procession is bigger than those two combined though, so check it out the next time you are in the Magic Kingdom! It probably will be a while before meet and greets really come back and these are fun ways to still see the characters.
