Mickey & Friends World Tour Cavalcade at Epcot Brings Mickey to World Showcase (Photos, Video)

Hi everyone!

We were at Epcot yesterday and had the chance to see all three cavalcades around World Showcase. Mickey & Friends World Tour is one of the three, featuring Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Goofy. The others are a Frozen Promenade with Anna and Elsa, and then a Disney Princess Promenade. They all run several times per day, so it would be hard not to catch at least one or two while walking around World Showcase during the day (as long as weather cooperates). The new character experiences are distanced since there are no meet and greets right now.

We don’t usually see much of Mickey Mouse in World Showcase. Mickey and Minnie have met at the International Gateway this year before the pandemic, but he isn’t a fixture normally. Below are our photos and video!

It was a beautiful day and I had a great view of Spaceship Earth as well from Italy.

Each Walt Disney World park has different cavalcades, motorcades or other character experiences that are distanced from guests. Things are different right now when visiting, with no parades or fireworks and a more limited amount of entertainment – but I’ve enjoyed these new ways of seeing characters. We will be posting another one tomorrow.
