Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival 2020 First Topiaries Arrive, Including Newly Sculpted Peter Pan & Tinker Bell
Hi everyone!
It is that time of year again, as the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival takes shape ahead of its March 4th, 2020 opening day. Topiaries have started popping up around World Showcase, including upgraded “2.0” topiaries – Peter Pan and Tinker Bell! Back in 2014, I wrote about how Snow White had a face for the first time. Her arms and hands were sculpted as well, giving her a more lifelike appearance. Then Anna and Elsa appeared in 2015, and Belle received her sculpted new look in 2017. More characters have also received upgrades (last year Dopey, Buzz Lightyear and Woody along with the new Bo Peep topiary). It is always fun to see what is new in topiaries, this is my 14th year of photographing and posting the festival. Check out our photos of the main flower quilt as well, which is looking beautiful.
Here is a look at the topiaries that were out yesterday, including Peter Pan and Tinker Bell! And with Peter Pan and Tinker Bell, we showed what they looked like in photos from 2 years ago.

The weather was very grey and windy yesterday, I will have plenty of sunny day photos next week.
Peter Pan has been in topiary form for the Epcot International Festival for years – I have photos of him on a pirate ship at the front of the park from 2007. But now he has a sculpted face, arms and hands and looks incredible.
He is back with Captain Hook, who looks the same as in recent years.
Here is a close-up of the face of Peter Pan.
He still has a red feather plume in his hat.
His legs and feet look similar to previous years.
Captain Hook does have a moderately sculpted face, which is more than he had many years ago.
Tinker Bell is further back in the United Kingdom with fairy houses.
Here is a look at Tinker Bell from 2018 and this year.
The sculpt really captures her spirit.
And one more angle.
She is set back in this location.
Her shoes have what look like flower pom poms.
Now on to a few more topiaries! Piglet, Eeyore, Pooh, Tigger and Rabbit are also back in the United Kingdom. Piglet is looking especially pink this year.
This is the location for the Pooh characters.
Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet are together.
Pooh and Rabbit are as well.
In China, the pandas have moved to a new location. It really allows for them to look playful and the setting makes for great photos.
The troll is back in Norway.
And Anna and Elsa are now out in Norway as well.
I will post more photos in a few days as the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival springs up around Epcot!
