Disney Park and Resort Photo Updates

Temporary MouseGear Store Opens During Remodel of Original Epcot Location (Photos, Video)

Hi everyone!

We have a quick look inside the new MouseGear temporary store at Epcot. The former location is now closed for a re-imagining/remodel, we have photos and video here. The current temporary location is smaller, but fine for finding quite a bit of standard Disney merchandise. However, if you are in Epcot anyway, I recommend visiting the shops in World Showcase for unique merchandise as well. Here is a look around the temporary store!

Here is our video of the temporary store.

And of the former MouseGear location.

The temporary store had a little more theming than I expected, but is essentially a big room with merchandise. Much of it is sectioned off into different categories around the store.

There is also plenty of space to walk around.

When entering, there is quite a bit of new park icon merchandise.

This is in particular a really nice shirt. I am not showing much specific merchandise, but I do recommend checking out these items.

The Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror, Pixar ball and Spaceship Earth are among the icons here.

A Loungfly backpack with icons.

The new Epcot logo can be found around the store.

Mickey, Minnie and Donald at Epcot.

There are t-shirts – not as many as MouseGear had, but a nice selection.

There are hats.

Mugs and other related items.

There are racks of mugs, teas, etc.

This is a toy section.

Mickey is ready for St. Patrick’s Day.

There are t-shirts for children.

A plush section.

The plush area has some character art.

2020 merchandise is currently in the back.

Mannequins wear the 2020 merchandise.

Looking toward the front of the store.

The register here also has the new Epcot logo.

There are some MouseGear elements, including this hidden Mickey.

The Mickey is on the side of a drink cooler.

There is Epcot Forever merchandise.

Reusable shopping bags are sold here (and in the background, purses).

Minnie Mouse merchandise.

Another hidden Mickey in gears.

Wishables.

There are gears everywhere still. I don’t know if the new store will have them.

Those gears are on the bottom of this candy display.

And there is a second entrance to the store, which leads outside near Joffrey’s near where construction is happening on the Play Pavilion and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Joffrey’s has been suprisingly busy at times and will be a little moreso now (there was a long line yesterday).

There is a sign outside of this entrance.

We don’t know when the remodel will be complete, but we will update that at a later date!
