In honour of the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort is offering guests and locals some special interactive opportunities. A highlight of visiting the Resort, now through the festival end date of June 3, 2019 is the chance to see the Resort’s very own custom Disney character topiaries, designed by the Walt Disney World Resort horticulture team. The topiaries of Mickey and Minnie are located on the Resort’s main palm pathway, outside of Ravello restaurant.
“We are very excited to feature these wonderful topiaries on display in connection with the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival,” said Thomas Steinhauer, General Manager and Regional Vice President of Four Seasons Resort Orlando. “They certainly bring a smile to the faces of our guests, who love having their photos taken beside them!”
Resort guests who are staying on property and share a photo of the topiaries on social media, tagging @FSOrlandoand use the hashtag #FreshEPCOT, will be sent a complimentary treat in-room. The sweet treat is a special flower-theme cupcake made by the Resort’s award-winning pastry team, helmed by Executive Pastry Chef Rabii Saber.
In addition, guests and locals can experience a hands-on activity at the Resort, with a demonstration on how to arrange fresh flowers. Expert floral designers from Greenery Productions will lead an interactive class while guests enjoy light bites and drinks. Classes will be offered on two dates:

During the Festival, don’t miss experiencing some of the Resort’s cocktails that are deliciously fruit-infused or accentuated by Insta-worthy floral garnishes. At Capa, a signature drink is the CapaTonic, made with edible flowers including marigold and juniper berries as garnishes. At The Lobby Bar, several cocktails offer fruit or vegetable infusions, such as the Shroom with a View, which features mushroom-infused scotch, sherry, agave and black walnut bitters. The Botanist includes jalapeno-infused Absolut Elyx vodka, St-Germain, watermelon juice, lime and togarashi spice rum. The Notacolada features fresh pineapple, Rumhaven coconut, Disaronno amaretto, and Brungal anejo. Guests can enjoy happy hour at The Lobby Bar from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday and at Capa Bar on Sunday through Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
At The Spa at Four Seasons, select treatments incorporate elements of nature. The Healing Honey Treatment uses orange blossom honey from The Winter Garden Honey Co.
“The 100 percent pure honey from a local farm is the main massage medium, with the healing benefits of honey absorbed into the skin,” notes Derek Hofmann, Senior Director of Spa. “Honey is a natural exfoliant that possesses antibacterial, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing properties.”
In this special treatment, warmed honey is massaged into the skin, and a warmed beeswax propolis thermal pack is placed carefully on the back, sharing many of the same moisturising properties as the honey and also serving as a powerful immune booster. Available as a 50-minute treatment for USD 185, there is also an 80-minute option for USD 275. The 80-minute treatment includes the added benefit of head-to-toe exfoliation with purifying Himalayan salt and antioxidant, mineral-rich organic tea leaves. The benefits of these natural ingredients are compounded together when used in harmony, for a unique and memorable treatment experience.
For those who enjoy fresh citrus scents, the La Floridian signature treatment is ideal. An exclusive treatment to The Spa, this service begins with a fine cane-sugar body polish with a delicious aroma of jasmine flower and organic pink grapefruit. After a moisturising massage, skin is cocooned in a steamy wrap to seal in the hydration. During the wrap, the therapist will perform a jasmine hot oil hair and scalp treatment. This luxurious treatment is available for 80 minutes at USD 275.
