Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party at Magic Kingdom Debuts with Rare Characters & New Music (Photos, Video)
Hi everyone!
Walt Disney World is offering a variety of new entertainment options around the parks, including in the Magic Kingdom as part of part of Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Celebration! One of the main offerings is a new version of the “Move It! Shake It!” Street Party and it’s my favorite so far. Move It! Shake It! Mousekedance It! delivers several rare (for Walt Disney World) characters including Clarice, Max Goof, and Jose and Panchito with Donald Duck on one float. There are also other fan favorites that include Mickey and Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and more! Here is a look at Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! from the first couple of days.

Mickey and Minnie are on the cover of the Magic Kingdom guide map, atop their Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! float. Mickey and Minnie are also meeting in Town Square Theater in their Celebration costumes plus birthday hats.
Here is the video of the Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party and then photos below it. There is a new song called “It’s a Good Time” that is part of the street party, it is an original song that we saw performed in November at Disneyland Paris in the “Surprise Mickey” show and “Mickey’s Magical Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony”.
The first float includes Jose, Panchito and Donald.

Donald is atop the float. Many characters have new costumes and/or adornments.
Clarabelle Cow has a new Celebration costume.
Mickey and Minnie are on this float, which also includes two live singers – a first for the street party.
Minnie Mouse on the float.
Dale is on a float with Chip and Daisy and I’ll show that full float later. I stood at several different locations, and the show/dance party happens at the hub.
Pluto.
Max Goof.
I walked around the hub once during the show. It gets crowded there, but guests can dance with some of the characters next to the floats.
Clarice is a popular addition to the street party and danced with guests.
On the way back, The Three Cabelleros.
Clarabelle, Horace and Clarice.

Clarice and the other characters now have pom poms once the street party returns.
This is my favorite location to watch the floats return, looking toward Cinderella Castle.

The last float is Goofy, Max and Pluto.
Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Celebration is scheduled to end on September 30th, 2019. I don’t know if Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! will last longer than that, so definitely check out the Magic Kingdom offerings and other park entertainment additions by then!
We were invited to a media event on Friday, Jeff attended and had a reserved area for filming. Our video was shot at that time.
