Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Construction Photos from September 12th, 2018 (Walt Disney World)

Hi everyone!

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is scheduled to open in late fall, 2019 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (earlier than that at Disneyland). The Disney Parks Blog has said of the upcoming land, At Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, guests will be transported to the planet of Batuu, a remote outpost on the galaxy’s edge that was once a busy crossroads along the old sub-lightspeed trade routes.

We were in Toy Story Land for an early morning Passholder Play Time event a few days ago and I took photos of the upcoming land from ground and from Slinky Dog Dash, which offers the best construction views of Galaxy’s Edge. The photos below are shown without any other text – but you’ll see photos that include a spaceship that was added a month or so back. I don’t get over to Toy Story Land too often for updates, so I tried to be really thorough this time with photos. It’s always fun to see what is new.
