Celebrate National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day on August 4th, 2018 at The Polite Pig

The Polite Pig reminded us about National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day coming up on August 4th, 2018. Back in April, I wrote about the massive, nearly half-pound chocolate chip cookies from Gideon’s Bakehouse in Orlando’s East End Market being sold at the Disney Springs restaurant. What I love about that is that The Polite Pig is already a local company (sister restaurant to The Ravenous Pig in Winter Park) and that they are extending that local reach by offering Gideon’s Bakehouse chocolate chip cookies for sale as well.  It is the best chocolate chip cookie on Walt Disney World property to celebrate National Chocolate Chip Day with or any day you just want a chocolate chip cookie!

Gideon’s Bakehouse chocolate chip cookies are sold until they run out each day and cost $8.00. Yes, that is more than at East End Market but it’s worth it for me not to drive out to Winter Park if I’m not planning to. And The Polite Pig has great food, from the Smoked Chicken Salad to the USDA Prime Brisket – and the sides are fantastic, definitely try the Crispy Brussels Sprouts!

The Polite Pig is located in Town Center near the Lime Garage. The restaurant also offers its own Cask & Larder craft beer, small batch cocktails, a very nice sangria and a bourbon bar with over 60 choices of bourbon.

We will also be writing up the Disney Springs Brews & BBQ soon, which The Polite Pig is part of. That runs through September 3rd, 2018 but there is always something going on at Disney Springs!
