Disney announced today that the grand opening of Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be June 30th, 2018. Up until now, the only timeframe given had been summer 2018. Guests visiting Toy Story Land will “shrink” to the size of a toy as they visit Andy’s backyard. There will be a total of three attractions in the 11 acre land, with two being new – including Slinky Dog Dash, a family coaster that is in the video from Disney below.
The second attraction is Alien Swirling Saucers, which seems will be similar to Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree at Disney’s California Adventure in Anaheim. Disney says of this attraction, …“adorable little green aliens swirl about in their flying saucers with guests in tow in their rocket ship toys, while “The Claw” hangs overhead”

The popular Toy Story Mania! has been at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for 10 years now, and that will be the third attraction. Guests will walk through a “new carnival game box” to experience the attraction, which had a third track added last year.
Woody’s Lunch Box will have a walk-up window and will serve meals and old-fashioned soda floats. It will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and will serve American fare. Mini Baybel was announced the official snack cheese of Walt Disney World, Disneyland and the Disney Cruise Line last year and will be “prominently featured” here. In a press release, Disney said of Woody’s Lunch Box, Andy has taken a vintage Woody-themed lunch box and propped it open with a thermos to turn it into Woody’s Lunch Box that dishes out all sorts of tasty meals and old-fashioned soda floats. He completed the area with a classic book and toys strewn about, along with items from his lunch box.

Nothing has been announced yet as far as any soft openings, including for Annual Passholders. Hopefully that will happen before the official opening!
