Here is our overview of the Disneyland Paris 25th Grand Celebration on April 12th, 2017! This day was so much bigger than I could have ever anticipated, such a change from my first trip to Disneyland Paris over the 10th anniversary in 2002. We talk about the big day in an episode that lasts just over a half hour, and I embedded some of our other videos below too, within the show notes (including both Grand Celebration Cavalcade viewings, and the big morning show). We will have much more from Disneyland Paris in the coming weeks, mixed in with Walt Disney World and Orlando area coverage.

In Mousesteps Weekly #223, we talk all about the Disneyland Paris 25th Anniversary Grand Celebration on April 12th, 2017!
We began our day at 6:30 a.m. outside of the turnstiles, and made our way into the park at 8:00 a.m. for the 9:00 a.m. morning event. It was incredible, and included about 150 characters (many very rare). These included Jessica Rabbit, Shellie May, Bolt and Mittens, and so many more. The morning show also included a huge Cast Member flash mob performing down Main Street. This was one of the best things we’ve ever seen in a Disney park!
We have a contest through April 30th to win a button and park guide map! And we take a look at more of the day, including the special park tickets created just for April 12th.
The Grand Celebration continued with the 25th Anniversary Grand Cavalcade. The same 150 or so characters were part of it, as were the performers that were dressed in special costumes for that day.

Disney Stars on Parade is the 25th anniversary parade, and we take a look at the Maleficent dragon on the first day she breathed full fire.
Disney Illuminations is a stunning new nighttime show created for the 25th anniversary, replacing Disney Dreams. We share just a little of the show, which includes fire, fireworks, fountains, projections and lasers.
Mickey’s Goodnight Kiss was held at the end of the night. It featured Mickey and Minnie, Donald and Daisy, Duffy and Shellie May, Clarice, Pluto, Goofy and Max, and Chip & Dale in a half-hour sendoff for guests. This was an incredible day and we are so glad to have been there for it!
