In Mousesteps Weekly #218, we talk about the following topics:
We begin at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge at the new Geyser Point Bar & Grill. The views there are incredible, the drinks were decent but the food was hit or miss. This is part of the new theming for the Boulder Ridge Villas (formerly the Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge). We take a look at food and drinks, along with the area around the restaurant.
Next, we visit Epcot to preview the topiaries and flowers of the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. The Festival kicks off on March 1st and lasts through March 29th, 2017. NEW this year is Belle, who has a whole new sculpted topiary with a face. There is still much more to come by next week’s Festival debut!
We meet Belle in person before we see the new topiary (on a different day, the last day of the Epcot International Festival of the Arts). Then we head over to France early, before World Showcase officially opens (Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie opens at 9). Early is a great time to see the topiaries here!
Our last stop is Planet Hollywood Observatory at Disney Springs. We attended a media dinner where we were able to try some different items, from appetizers to entrees to desserts. The desserts really are the stars here, even though we enjoyed almost everything we tried.
