Big River Grille & Brewing Works on Walt Disney World Boardwalk Turns 20 (Photos from Beer Tapping Party)
Hi everyone!
Big River Grille & Brewing Works on the Walt Disney World Boardwalk turned 20 last week, and the restaurant celebrated during one of its beer tapping parties. It was our first time visiting during a tapping party (they are held every couple of months or so). Big River Grille & Brewing Works is a microbrewery, and the beer tapped was Bourbon Oak English Barleywine.
It was a beautiful but quiet day on the Walt Disney World Boardwalk.
The menu for the party included the Bourbon Oak English Barleywine at $3.00 per glass (that price is only during the beer tapping parties), and appetizers were complimentary – bison with Havarti dinner roll sliders, boar with goat cheese dinner roll sliders and chocolate covered strawberry chocolate cake to celebrate the 20th.
The tapping parties are public, and it was busy but not packed while we were there.
Appetizers were brought to the table, including these boar sliders with goat cheese. I have always enjoyed the food at Big River Grille and especially enjoyed the bison sliders.
It was fun celebrating the 20th! I can’t believe the restaurant has been here so long.
Jeff lifts a glass with Head Brewer Sky Conley. They talked about possible upcoming beers. While I don’t drink beer, Jeff is looking forward to stopping by for more of the Barleywine in the next month.
It was an equally pretty evening on the Walt Disney World Boardwalk as it had been during the day.
Congratulations to Big River Grille & Brewing Works on its 20th!
