Japanese Oreo Selection Comes to Epcot’s Mitsukoshi Department Store
Hi everyone!
One of my favorite shops at Epcot is the Mitsukoshi Department Store, because the merchandise changes often and there are always fun items to discover. I usually stop into Mitsukoshi during each Epcot visit (about once per week), though not always to the very end of the expansive shop – that is where all the snacks, teas, candy, etc. can be found. This week I found a variety of flavored Oreos I’ve never seen before. Mitsukoshi has had the Green Tea Kit-Kat since last year, as well as an ever expanding line of Pocky and many other items. But Oreos are new to me here. I didn’t buy any this time around, maybe this weekend.
If you’ve never been to Epcot’s Mitsukoshi shop, I highly recommend a visit. I like to wander through most of the World Showcase stores each trip – there are always new items to be found. But Mitsukoshi is so big, and just has a plethora of merchandise ranging from Hello Kitty to Studio Ghibli to…a lot. Too many to name. And if you don’t buy something when you see it, it may not be there the next time you visit.
It is always fun finding unique items that are similar to what we have here….but are really different too.
Chocolate Pie Oreo.
The Chocolate Pie Oreos are $6.99 for a 5.1 oz box. All of the Oreos are in the $5.00 – $7.00 price range.
I didn’t photograph all the backs (I will do that this week), but this is a 70% cacao version, apparently a limited edition strawberry version – but different than how Oreo cookies look here. These look to be more like chocolates. And being a limited edition, it might not be here for long (but that really applies to all the merchandise, limited or not!)
Oreo Strawberry Soft Cookies. These seem to be limited too.
Oreo Chocolate Cream Sandwich Cookies.
Raspberry Chocolate Oreo Bars. I’ve read online that these are very sweet.
That is it on the current Oreo selection at Mitsukoshi! And definitely take a stroll through next time you visit Epcot, the World Showcase shops are great attractions in their own right.
