Disney TAG (Travel-Accessories-Gear) Store Opens at Disney Springs Marketplace Co-Op
Hi everyone!
Disney TAG (Travel-Accessories-Gear) opened Friday (March 11th) at the Disney Springs Marketplace Co-Op, selling luggage and travel accessories for the Disney fan. Some of the items are really a lot of fun, I’m partial to anything with a monorail on it (the monorail fleece blanket already has a lot of fans!) Disney TAG opened where Zoey & Pickles was just days ago, the turnaround is pretty fast when the shops at the Marketplace Co-Op change.
The Disney TAG logo here with Mickey can be found on some items in the store.
This is a look at the outside of the shop.
The flight attendant with the Mickey adornments made me wonder if we might see a Disney airline someday.
Here is a look at the Mickey wings.
Some of the luggage and merchandise here are items we’ve seen at other shops. There are many exclusive items as well, though it sounds like (from an article on the Disney Parks Blog) the merchandise will eventually make its way into other stores and Disneyland.
This monorail luggage tag is a favorite of mine.
When I posted this monorail fleece throw, it seemed like everyone wanted it. I am sure these will be flying out the door.
There are travel sized bottles with characters on them.
Umbrellas are here as well, including one with the monorail.
For the Haunted Mansion fan, there are a couple of different items. One is a neck pillow.
There is also a Haunted Mansion wallpaper sleep mask.
And a Mickey Mouse body parts sleep mask.
There are a couple of other similar items with a Disney flair.
Mickey Mouse luggage tag in the store logo.
Donald Duck luggage tag.
This luggage tag includes a Mickey balloon, Pluto, Minnie, a Mickey bar and more symbols.
This is similar, but in different colors.
These luggage tags include WDW, DLR and more.
I’ve seen these luggage tags before, including the Finding Nemo seagulls “Mine Mine Mine” tag.
iPhone 6 case with a monorail.
Disney TAG electric toothbrush.
A variety of luggage tags and other items against the wall.
Around the World with Mickey pin.
Suitcase with all the Disney destinations pin.
Minnie Mouse luggage and tags, I don’t think any of these are exclusive (the Minnie Mouse suitcase on the left has been sold for years).
Star Wars backpack.
BB-8 backpack.
This luggage is currently exclusive, and features Disney destinations around the world.
A variety of suitcases can be found on this stand.
“Baggage Claim” theme with suitcases and backpacks.
This suitcase is the same theme as the luggage tags from above.
I remember this figure from TrenD. She is at the door to this “plane”, at the top of the stairs.
Two airplane seats are next to a piece of luggage.
I didn’t wait long enough to see the hidden Mickey in the clouds, this is a display outside the shop.
Departures and Arrivals.
Arrivals include Arendelle (delayed due to weather), San Fransokyo and Toontown.
Departures include Anaheim, Harambe and Glendale.
I like the vintage Mickeys that can be found in the shop.
There are also some items including Samsonite locks.
Adaptor plugs are here as well.
The artwork outside the store includes Cinderella Castle and Progress City.
The artwork from the luggage tags is on the wallpaper.
The right side of the store resembles an airplane, with the wing over the entrance.
Nearby, there is the “Disney Cruise Line Drydock”. This stand used to sell art, but now guests can purchase from a modest selection of Disney Cruise Line merchandise.
Disney Cruise Line shirts, hats, frames and mugs.
There are even a couple of Disney Cruise Line Dooney & Bourke bags!
Will you be visiting TAG soon?
