Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2015: 130 Photos From 2 Nights Including Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular

Jeff took Main Street for Happy HalloWishes on the second day we visited, I stayed in the Plaza Garden East hub location. I stood in front of a tree as not to block anyone, and guests directly in front of me were sitting.

Happy HalloWishes.

I took this one during the previous Party from Main Street.

New this year is the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. It was clear that this is where the budget went for anything new. I know nothing about Hocus Pocus, and it would have helped if I did. The show is high energy and on the dark side (a little more, IMHO, than Villains Mix & Mingle).

Here are some photos from the show! I was never close to the stage, I stayed far back and on an incline so I could see what was going on.

Here is our full video of Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular!

One of my favorite aspects of the show is the lighting on Cinderella Castle.

Dr. Facilier.

Oogie Boogie is part of the show.

The Evil Queen brings her gift of an apple for the potion.

Hades.

Maleficent is a big part of the show.

Captain Hook and Jafar are both face characters here.

Jafar brings his gift.

The Sanderson Sisters are brewing up the best Party ever.

I do like the lighting on the sides as well, including the candles.

Oogie Boogie and Cruella deVil.

Cruella joins the Sanderson Sisters.

Oogie Boogie, Jafar, Hades, the Evil Queen, and other villains on stage.

The finale includes fire and fireworks.

Up until this year, midnight has been a very slow time at the Party. With the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular and other Party elements running so late, many more families are in the park through the end of the night than ever before. This last show began at midnight, and was the least crowded. I do recommend it because nothing else is going on at that time.

Skull and Crossbones on Big Thunder Mountain.

The Pet Cemetary is lit up for the Party.

The Haunted Mansion also gets special lighting effects. We didn’t have a chance to see Madame Renata or Carlotta this year.

One of my favorite things to do at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is to take night photos. There is less time than usual, due to the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular ending so late. But there still is some time.

It took until after 1:00 a.m. to get photos through the pumpkins.

We took a photo with the tripod.

We don’t plan to go back again this season for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so we enjoyed taking photos until the end.

See Ya Real Soon!

This is our last look at the Main Street Train Station.
