In Mousesteps Weekly #144, we talk about:
The hub at the Magic Kingdom, which is continuing it’s lengthy expansion. The Rose Garden is still under major construction as it changes to a newer hub style.
Next, we take a ride on the Tomorrowland Speedway, with views of Space Mountain, Cinderella Castle and Fantasyland.
Our next stop is Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, where Kiki Tikis Splash Play water play area for children has opened. After taking a walk around the structure, we head to Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace, where we try a new Spikey Pineapple Drink. It is made from Dole Whip and Rum!
We head to Epcot, walking around World Showcase and stopping at the France Pavilion for a baguette and to admire a new window display in Les Halles Boulangerie that includes Remy in bread. After France, we make our way to the African Outpost to see the “Monkey Kingdom” sand sculpture. Our last stop here is the the Norway pavilion, where the Anna & Elsa meet and greet is being built. New concept artwork line the walls, themed to “Frozen”.
We reach back to our October, 2014 trip to Disneyland Paris, walking through Alice’s Curious Labyrinth. This is the only Disney park in the world that has this attraction, and the payoff is the expansive view from the top of the Queen of Hearts castle.
