In Mousesteps Weekly #136, we talk about:
Mardi Gras at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, where Cast Members decorate pargo golf carts and celebrate the holiday – throwing beads and candy to guests! The theme this year was Magical Music, and Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen are together in a carriage at the end (last year it was just Princess Tiana). We also take a little walk through part of Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter, one of the resorts that Denise has posted photo walks of this month.
Next, we head to Epcot to check out the topiaries and flower quilts that are being added for the upcoming Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. Captain Hook, Tick Tock Croc, Lady and the Tramp, and other topiaries already can be found in World Showcase.
Elsa and Anna topiaries were not yet up when we recorded a couple of days back (they have been added since and we have FULL VIDEO Here: http://youtu.be/jyx-LMjwKFI). We show them as Disney photographed them, but will share more next week!
Next, we head to the Orlando Eye location and walk through part of the Madame Tussauds museum for a media preview. Figures here include Steven Spielberg and E.T., Selena Gomez, Katie Perry and so much more! Guests can touch and pose with the characters.
We stay in the same building as the SEA LIFE Aquarium pours water for the first time into the tanks. We interview SEA LIFE Orlando curator Steve Blair about the attraction.
