Disney's Port Orleans Resort

Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Photo Walk 2015; 250 Photos in Tour of Resort

The Fishin’ Hole is presented by Take Me Fishing.org, which took over at Disney’s Fort Wilderness as well (I think last year).

Guests fish together.

Nearby, there are a couple of hammocks to enjoy.

We passed the Fishin’ Hole at 9:04 a.m. This is 9 minutes after we began.

This bridge crosses into Alligator Bayou.

We will be turning left after the bridge.

Alligator Bayou buildings.

We turn left at 9:05 a.m.

Alligator Bayou is the only section of Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside that offers bedding for 5 guests in a room.

We will be walking toward lodges 14-18.

Building 27.

Guests can easily walk from these buildings to the food court, which can be seen ahead.

We are still walking along the path.

The water wheel of the Riverside Mill can be seen.

We will be turning right into the area with buildings 18 and 14, just to show one of the quiet pools.

We are following the sign for lodges 14-18.

Alligator Bayou is my favorite guest area of Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside. It is woodsy, and the buildings are more laid back.

Building 14.

We will be following the signs toward the pool.

Pool and laundry are ahead.

I also like the little bridges that are found here.

Building 18.

We are still following the signage to the pool.

Pool and laundry to the right.

Ahead of us is another one of the little bridges.

We turned right, and are heading to this quiet pool.

This is one of the 5 quiet pools at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside. We arrived here at 9:08 a.m.

We are heading right at this building.

This little detour is taking us back to the main pathway, past building 27 (which we saw earlier).

The path is in front of us, and we will be taking a left after building 27.

This is the path we will be taking the rest of the way, to Parterre Place.

One of the pedestrian bridges is ahead.

Guests were riding surrey bikes.

Signage is everywhere.

Building 38 is to the left.

We pass Building 38 at 9:12 a.m.

We are now in the Magnolia Bend area.

Acadian House.

One of the bridges we saw earlier is up ahead.

We are passing here at 9:14 a.m.

Magnolia Terrace.

I wanted to show a bit of the building, which is very grand looking (but is not part of the walk time).

This gazebo makes for lovely photos!

Stagecoach weathervane on top of the gazebo.

We are heading to the left, but I noticed a golf cart of plants to the right. Landscaping was out changing flowers that day.

We are heading through Magnolia Bend.

Across the way, the water towers and main building can be seen.

Oak Manor is to the left.

Next up will be the Royal Guest Room buildings!

This is the first of the Royal Guest areas, Oak Manor.

Keep reading for the remainder of the photo walk!
