Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Bungalow, Volcano Pool Update – February 2015
Hi everyone!
We have an update today of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, including the Bora Bora Bungalows and the volcano progress at the Lava Pool (formerly the Nanea Volcano Pool) – there was so much pool construction going on, they are moving rapidly to finish the project. The first phase of Disney’s Polynesian Resort Villas & Bungalows opens on April 1st, 2015, though there is no announced date on the Lava Pool.

Here is a look from the boat dock at the Bora Bora Bungalows.
From the boat, this is a look at the construction on the volcano and Lava Pool.
There are 20 Bora Bora Bungalows, and they will each sleep 8 guests. Lounge chairs have been added to the bungalows, and each has a plunge pool.
I noticed (from a distance) that there was a sign on each balcony. The sign lists the balcony rules, such as not throwing anything over the balcony; no feeding wildlife; and no sitting, leaning or climbing on the railing.
The volcano has changed quite a lot in the past few weeks.
Kids will enjoy this slide!
Here is a look at the pool construction from the main building.
I didn’t notice until I was going through my photos how many guests were peeking at the pool construction below!
The kid’s slide wasn’t up when we last photographed this area last month.
Take a look at our video from yesterday!
And this is the entrance to Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, which also opens this year.
We look forward to sharing more from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort in the upcoming weeks!
