Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons from KISS Announce Rock & Brews Grand Opening on January 6, 2015

Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons from KISS will be honoring veterans at the grand opening of the new Rock & Brews in Oveido on January 6th, 2015. While the restaurant opened its doors a few weeks ago to the public, this celebration will include a private luncheon for more than 100 wounded warriors, veterans and active duty personnel. There is a public meet and greet for $200 per person, which will include soft drinks and a sampling of Rock & Brews cuisine. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Orlando VA Medical Center’s new Fisher House! Keep reading for more information in the official press release. ORLANDO, FL (December 4, 2014) — Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of KISS today announced plans to host a grand opening celebration for the new Rock & Brews Oviedo location set for Tuesday, January 6. The grand opening festivities will consist of a midday luncheon for more than 100 wounded warriors, veterans and active duty military personnel, as well as a public meet & greet event with Simmons & Stanley from 2-4 p.“Oviedo marks our first Rock & Brews restaurant on the East Coast,” said Stanley. “For every Rock & Brews opening, we look forward to paying tribute to the local service men and women in the areas in which Rock & Brews operates.”
While the luncheon is a private event, the meet & greet, hosted by Stanley and Simmons, is open to the public. Tickets to the meet & greet are $200 per person and include two adult beverages per person or unlimited soft drinks, a sampling of Rock & Brews cuisine, and a photo opportunity with Stanley and Simmons. A percentage of proceeds, not less than $10,000, will benefit the Orlando VA Medical Center’s new Fisher House in Lake Nona located just steps from the Orlando VAMC’s newest hospital. The Fisher House is designed for Veterans and their families to stay at during hospitalization at no cost or restriction on the length of the visit. Rock & Brews Oviedo opened to the public on November 17, offering guests a sneak preview of the restaurant and welcomed local Rock & Brews Regional Managing Partner Scott Paul, who was the Managing Partner for Outback Steakhouse and worked at three Orlando locations for more than 12 years.
“Rock & Brews is a unique restaurant and entertainment brand that appeals to a multi-generational audience with its energized environment, exceptional food, and extensive selection of international and craft beers,” said Paul. “At the heart of the brand is our deep devotion to the communities in which we operate, and we are very excited to become an active member of the Oviedo community.”
The approximately 8,000 square foot Rock & Brews Oviedo will feature the brand’s quality American cuisine, and a full bar that includes one of the area’s largest selections of international and local craft beers and premium wines. The family-friendly, rock-inspired environment includes multiple screens and a state-of-the-art sound system broadcasting some of the greatest concert moments in rock history, as well as murals, canvas art of iconic rock images and Rock & Brews signature Great Wall of Rock. Guests can dine indoors or al fresco on heated and cooled patios, offering the latest in mist cooling systems and side motorized curtains for the hot summer months, and fire pits and heaters for the winter months. And, with something for everyone, Rock & Brews Oviedo will be dog-friendly and offer a small play area for children.
Stanley and Simmons are thoughtfully planning for worldwide expansion of the brand. The new Rock & Brews Oviedo will join the brand’s growing roster of family-friendly restaurants.
Rock & Brews Oviedo’s hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. The restaurant will open to the public for dinner service following the meet & greet event.
