Rosen Hotels Feature a Plethora of Holiday Activities from a Professional Ice Skating Show to Gingerbread University

Hi everyone!

Rosen hotels in the Orlando area have ratcheted up their holiday offerings for 2014! We previewed Holidays on Ice, which is a professional ice skating show at the Rosen Centre on International Drive – but there is so much more to do as well! We always enjoy the Winter Wonderland at Rosen Shingle Creek (that is a gorgeous resort to visit), and guests of the resorts can book an activity such as Gingerbread University or Chocolate Making. Many of the events are listed below, with the resort it can be found at, along with the price (if applicable). Book early, as most everything should sell out! Holidays on Ice at Rosen Centre

What: Join us for a fun-filled, interactive, professional Ice Skating Show featuring a cast of skaters from across the United States. Holiday music and an amazing lights show accompany the performances of individual and couples skating for a full 45 minutes. Shows include a pre-show meet & greet and post-performance photo opportunity with the cast!

Cookie Decorating with Executive Pastry Chef David Ramirez

What: Let your imagination run wild in this hands-on class where Executive Pastry Chef David Ramirez offers instructions on how to decorate the beloved cookie. Cost is $15 per person and includes cookies and everything you’ll need to decorate them. You are more than welcome to take your creation home, but we’re not sure how long they’ll last on the way home. Cookie monsters tend to show up where there are cookies.

What: Construction and study have never been so sweet! Attend our first Gingerbread University with Executive Pastry Chef David Ramirez as your professor.

Chocolate Making with Chef David Ramirez

What: Young chocolate lovers and chocolate lovers who are young at heart will enjoy an afternoon with “Orlando’s Willy Wonka” Executive Pasty Chef David Ramirez. Sample decadent treats as well as create your own chocolate-themed gift, which you can take home after the workshop. Attend and unlock the secrets of chocolate; cost is $30 per person. This event is open to the entire family.

What: Enjoy holiday cheer at Rosen Shingle Creek’s Osceola Terrace that will transform into a Winter Wonderland! Wristband purchase grants you entry for one night to our Winter Wonderland. Bring family and friends and join Mrs. Clause for storytelling and activity, ride a train through our Christmas wonderland, capture the moment in our photo booth, enjoy an outdoor movie, face painting, or holiday karaoke. Dinner and Gift Wrapping Event with Santa and His Elf

What: Join us for dinner then gift wrapping with Santa and his elf! Dinner comes with one gift that children will wrap.
