Mickey’s Very Merry Merry Christmas Party 2014 – 200 Photos and Video

Every year there are changes to Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, but some aspects stay the same for years. Performers on rocking horses, in a car and on the scooter are longtime holiday favorites.

Another favorite of mine from the parade are the toy soldiers. They always look majestic marching down Main Street!

Another perennial favorite are the prancing reindeer.

We had just a couple of minutes to make it to the “Celebrate the Season” show. I didn’t have a chance to take my zoom lens out, but I had a reasonably good spot. The shows at the end of the evening are much less crowded than at the beginning, since a lot of guests leave after the fireworks. The show features Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, and many performers and characters!

Happy Holidays!

The show always ends with fireworks.

It was after 11:30 p.m., and we decided to end our evening with “A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas”. I always enjoy this show! Snowflakes are projected on the entrance to Tomorrowland.

The show is about finding the true meaning of Christmas. Buzz Lightyear and Mike Wazowski join Hailey Comet and performers on stage, with Stitch in the background trying to “track down” Santa.

The lighting here was upgraded this year and looks fantastic.

My favorite segment is the “Jingle Bells” song and dance. It is unlike any other version of Jingle Bells you will ever see!

I always enjoy taking photos at the end of the night. On our second evening, we left the park around 1:20 a.m. Guests are quickly ushered out of all the lands onto Main Street, but then there is plenty of time to linger. Here are some photos from both evenings.

I noted how everyone seemed to be buying these bulb necklaces, and Jeff bought one for me (for about $10.00).

One of our favorite places to get a shot down Main Street from is right here, between the two soldiers and Christmas trees.
