Disney’s Polynesian Resort Construction Photo Update May 27, 2014
Hi everyone!
We were at Disney’s Polynesian Resort yesterday to dine at ‘Ohana, and spent a little time before and after the meal taking photos.
The Disney Vacation Club bungalows are still taking shape. Not much has happened with them outwardly since our last visit.
Here you can see a bungalow and the view of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
Here are a few more photos.
This bungalow has an easy view of Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom, I expect all of them will.
The stream in front of the Great Ceremonial House.
Walls are up in almost every area around the waterfall, except in the front on the first floor.
While the wall wasn’t up yet last night, the plants here looked like they were wilting.
There was some sort of tarp going up on the walls.
I am sure the walls will look much nicer soon for guests staying here.
Mickey and Minnie display – one of my favorites! I hope it stays.
After we dined at ‘Ohana, we noticed plastic put up in the Kona Cafe.
Kona Island also was covered in plastic. I am assuming for construction purposes, I haven’t ever seen this before.
Tarp was being put on the walls at night.
The Neverland Club closed a while ago, and Club Disney opens next month. Reservations are being accepted for it!
The area inside looks very nice – this is the view from outside of the front door.
And for anyone interested, there is a companion restroom across from ‘Ohana on the second floor. Since breaking my ankle, it’s been interesting to see which resorts are more accessible than others.
This is the view on the way out of Disney’s Polynesian Resort.
Are you looking forward to the changes at Disney’s Polynesian Resort?
