Duplo Valley Opens at LEGOLAND Florida (Photos, Video); Geared for Toddlers Ages 2-5

Hi everyone!

LEGOLAND Florida opened Duplo Valley this past week, an area that is geared for toddlers ages 2-5 (but can be fun for nearly anyone!)

LEGOLAND Florida was bustling on Duplo Valley opening day, though we were invited before park opening to check out the new addition.

LEGOLAND Florida General Manager Adrian Jones talked briefly about Duplo Valley, which is LEGOLAND Florida’s newest expansion. On tap next? The LEGOLAND Hotel, which is will be very close to the action at LEGOLAND Florida next year. LEGOLAND Florida also offers a new Preschool Pass, which includes weekday (Monday-Friday) admisson to LEGOLAND Florida, along with standard parking. It allows one child under five and one adult into LEGOLAND for a full year and costs $90 plus tax. The pass is transferrable to adults in the family – the pass is actually assigned to the child, and a grandparent could take the child one day, and a parent the next.

Here is our video of the Grand Opening, which also included Buddy.

Duplo Valley is open!

Duplo Splash & Play includes jets for kids to run through, along with a variety of farm animal figures. This promises to be a busy location on a warm day.

Popcorn and drinks can be purchased at the Duplo Snack Bar.

I was unable to transfer with my broken ankle onto any rides yet, but Jeff enjoyed the Duplo Tractor and the Duplo Train. Guests must be at least 36 inches tall to ride the Duplo Tractor. Adults can ride – we have adult friends who have been looking forward to the attractions here.

Before riding the Duplo Tractor, Jeff checked out several machines about animals that are placed outside the ride fence.

Both the Duplo Tractor and the Duplo Train are gentle rides for families.

We next headed to the Duplo Farm, which already was here previously. It has been upgraded as an indoor location with air conditioning.

Children can enjoy slides and LEGO fun!

There is a Baby Care Center here, which allows moms to nurse in privacy. A microwave is available, and even a cell phone charging station (many are popping up around the parks now).

The Duplo Train is the biggest draw here in Duplo Valley. Here is a POV video of the train!

I took a photo of Jeff enjoying the train (while he took one of me). In the background, you can see the crane that is part of the LEGOLAND Hotel expansion.

This Tot Spot is geared for infants aged 18 months to 2 years old.
