What to Expect at Disney Baby Care Centers at Walt Disney World (w/Photos)

Hi everyone!

A friend of mine had a baby this past year, and asked if I had any photos of the Baby Care Centers across property. Jill is also a former client of mine from when I was a travel agent, it’s very exciting to see her (and her husband) bringing their baby to Walt Disney World for the first time! I have never really spent time in the Baby Care Centers at Walt Disney World, so we set out to photograph them and find out what they provide. I broke my foot early on in the process and haven’t made it to the Magic Kingdom Baby Care Center yet, but I hope to add that later this week.

Each Baby Care Center is similar in that they offer a microwave, television, baby changing tables and private areas for moms to nurse. Guests can also purchase products such as Huggies diapers, Coppertone sunblock, baby food and other items. Where the centers really vary is the size. Disney’s Hollywood Studios has a very small Baby Care Center, which is just off of Guest Relations at the front of the park. On the other hand, Disney’s Animal Kingdom offers a huge center, with more public and private space.

The Epcot Baby Care Center is attached to the Odyssey, located on the walkway to the left between Future World and World Showcase. First Aid is next door.

Here you can see a microwave, sink, and quite a few items for sale – just about anything you’d need for a baby!

This room features a television, chairs, and Disney wallpaper.

Guests can also purchase Disney merchandise here, including baby outfits and Duffy the Disney Bear plush.

Changing tables are available, with Disney artwork on the walls (Tinker Bell, it’s a small World, etc.) There is a private room for nursing, but I believe it was in use on this day.

Here we are standing in Guest Relations at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The door we are looking toward is the Baby Care Center. You can see the small room with television right inside. We were told that baby items are sold outside, not in the center itself.

The space is very tight, families will probably not want to spend extended amounts of time here. On the other hand, we love the Disney artwork!

Nursing rooms are cordoned off by a curtain, not a door.

And there is a microwave and sink.

This is a toddler toilet!

It is hard to explain how tight the space is, but I was in a wheelchair and couldn’t enter one room without exiting and hopping into it. But not having children, it was my favorite for theme.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom park has a huge Baby Care Center. It is past Pizzafari on the left, before the bridge to Africa.

Entering the lobby, what I noticed first is that there is no Disney artwork specifically, everything is animal themed.

Guests can also purchase baby items inside the Baby Care Center lobby.

This is a large room with a television, tables and chairs and other seating.

The artwork often refers to animal parents and children.

The changing tables are on the small side compared with other centers.

There are sinks and extensive counter space, a microwave, and more items for sale.

Here is a private room.

The animal artwork extends outside.

We will be adding more to this article in the upcoming week.
