Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Wall Comes Down to Reveal Lush Waterfall and Landscaping – Photo and Video Update February 2014
Hi everyone!
It was a gorgeous day at the Magic Kingdom, where a wall came down for a view of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train waterfall and track.
The biggest surprise to many friends we spoke with today is the drop on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train – it is a family coaster, but it looks likes it will include some thrills too. Most of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train attraction does still have the walls up, we look forward to seeing the rest of the attraction soon!
Many of the photos below show the trees, the waterfall, and the bridge. Everything looks real in person, and there is quite a lot of texture. Here is our video to go with the photos!
Our friend Steve Fox took some video with his iPhone, which is included in our video. These are two screen caps from the video. We left right before the Mine Train car took to the tracks (we’d been in the Magic Kingdom for a couple of hours, and were told that it’d not be out again). Thank you to Steve for the great footage!
Prince Eric’s Castle makes for a lovely backdrop!
This is the bridge into New Fantasyland where everything is currently visible.
Even with no train on the track, it almost has the look of one – like in the woodwork under the track, which takes the shape of a car.
This is a look around the rest of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!
The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is scheduled to open this spring.
We had a gorgeous sunset as we left the Magic Kingdom today!
Our last stop was at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
Excited about the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train? We are, and we will bring you photo and video coverage as it gets closer to completion, and once it opens. It fits wonderfully into New Fantasyland!
