Disney Releases Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Video – Attraction Set to Open in 2014 in New Fantasyland

The Disney Parks Blog has released a video update about the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ride, which is to open in 2014! Walt Disney Imagineers Ben VanBeusekon and Mary MacEachin talk about the storytelling aspect while sharing a look at the creative process and ride testing. We also share some of our own videos, two from the last two D23 Expos in California, and one of a recent test on the tracks at the Magic Kingdom.

We have been following the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train since it began construction, and look forward to when this new roller coaster opens!

A few weeks back, we were at the Magic Kingdom when a Seven Dwarfs Mine Train car was testing.
And at the D23 Expo 2013, there was a virtual ride-through of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
Our first look at the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train was during another media preview at the D23 Expo in 2011.
 
This likely will be my favorite aspect of the New Fantasyland expansion! We will bring you coverage of this new attraction when it opens in 2014. We have seen “spring” as the opening timeframe in the past, but the Disney Parks Blog only states the year this time around.
