Holiday Fun at Rosen Shingle Creek Includes Winter Wonderland, European Market (Photos)

Hi everyone!

We visited the Rosen Shingle Creek for their second annual Winter Wonderland Festival! We’d attended last year, and this year was even better – with real reindeer and new projections! The event and parking for the Rosen Shingle Event winter festivals are free. Tonight will feature the European Winter Fair, which includes much of what you see here and more. Tickets can be purchased for activities and food. We are sorry we’ll be missing the Winter Fair tonight, it sounds like a lot of fun!

The outside of the Rosen Shingle Creek is gorgeous for the holidays. We’ve been to other Rosen hotels in the past couple of years to see their holiday decorations as well – each Rosen does a beautiful job.

Jeff poses with a nutcracker outside of the resort.

There is entertaimment around the resort, including these carolers outside of Cafe Osceola.

The Cafe Osceola buffet is at a discounted rate during Winter Wonderland, and includes these beautifully decorated desserts!

Characters that include this snowflake are available for taking photos with. New characters for 2013 include “Lolly” and a Nutcracker soldier!

This is what I was most looking for – reindeer! There are two reindeer for guests to enjoy seeing. With the popularity of the film “Frozen”, reindeer seem to be more popular then ever.

Projections and festive lights decorate the resort!

We rarely have real snow in Central Florida, this is as close as it usually gets.

We enjoyed a ride on the Shingle Creek Express! Tonight there will be a horse-drawn Christmas wagon.

There was a ballet production in this area when we arrived to the Shingle Creek Resort, but it was quiet when we left. There are many lovely photo opportunities during the Rosen Shingle Creek Winter Wonderland.

Thank you to the Rosen Shingle Creek for inviting us – we did receive 4 activity tickets and a buffet. We would have attended even without an invitation, we had such a good time last year (and this year was even better). We are looking forward to seeing what the Rosen Shingle Creek has in store for 2014! I recommend following Rosen Shingle Creek on Twitter for future offerings!
