Anna and Elsa From “Frozen” Make Their Official Debut in Epcot’s Norway Pavilion (Photos, Video)
Hi everyone!
Anna and Elsa from Frozen made their official debut today at Epcot’s Norway Pavilion in Walt Disney World (we also met them in Disney’s Hollywood Studios previously). Keep reading for photos and video!
Elsa and Anna are meeting in a portion of The Puffin’s Roost shop at Norway, in Epcot’s World Showcase near Maelstrom. The Disney Parks Blog stated that the meet & greet is scheduled through January 4th, 2014 (note on 4/20, Anna and Elsa will be meeting at the Magic Kingdom’s Princess Fairytale Hall!)
Instead of “The Puffin’s Roost”, the temporary sign says “Prinsesse Plass”, which translates to “Princess Room”. The Puffin still stands above it!
There is a sign with meet times listed. Jeff made it to the 1:00 p.m. meet & greet, I was running errands and arrived to Norway at 1:15 p.m., and was first in line for 2:00 p.m. I think this area will be very crowded once the movie comes out!
Frozen merchandise is displayed in the windows.
Disney Frozen decorative banner:
Guests wait outside until the sisters arrive, at least today we did. I took this photo from outside the closed door, which was opened when they walked in. This is most of the room, it isn’t too big – but enough for a handful of guests inside.
Anna’s costume looked the same to me as last time, down to the “A” on each boot. I didn’t take a photo of her boot today, but the photo below is from their appearance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Elsa does not have a letter on her shoe.
Here are more photos today from the meet & greet. Note the snowflake on the carpet.
We had to stand back to photograph the train on Elsa’s dress!
Here is a photo of them at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
This is our video from today, and we have more Frozen related videos later in the article.
There is a decorative banner nearby, and a castle behind them.
Jeff and I were asked if we coordinated clothes – he went for a Christmas theme, I was in my errand outfit!
This decorative desk sits in a corner.
There has been quite a bit of Frozen merchandise at Walt Disney World over the last few weeks, with more being added. We are looking forward to The Art of Frozen (the “Art of” books are always favorites of ours).
This nice Cast Member held up the “Greetings from Norway” sign in the Duffy/Perry Kidcot location.
The Stave Church is being set up for a Frozen display. There is concept art at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the Animation building.
Disney Frozen opens on November 27th! We had the opportunity to interview Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell and Josh Gad about the film at the D23 Expo in August. Here is our video!
