Easter Bunny Meet & Greet, Epcot Egg Hunts – Limited Time Magic Spring Fling March 25th – 31st Pics

3/26 I’ve added more photos from this year onto the article, keep reading to the end!

It will be another Limited Time Magic week in the Easter theme for March 25th – 31st. Following in the steps of the Epcot Vinylmation Easter Egg Hunt, this coming week will include Easter egg hunts for the kids at Epcot, Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot, and an Easter procession similar to what is held each Easter day at the Magic Kingdom.

Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny 2013, Magic Kingdom

The Easter Bunny and Mrs. Bunny have already started greeting guests at the Magic Kingdom, we met them yesterday. An individually wrapped Peep was also being handed out to each guest who went through the meet-and-greet! We have a video of us meeting them here.

Meeting with Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny 2013, Magic Kingdom

Similar to last year, Mr. and Mrs. Bunny will be meeting at Epcot’s United Kingdom pavilion, but for the whole week and not just on Easter Day. Easter egg hunts were also limited to Easter day in the past, but expect those to be in both the United Kingdom and Future World for the entire week.

Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny in Magic Kingdom Easter Pre-Parade 2012

The Spring Fling procession before the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade will essentially be the Easter Pre-Parade without the Azalea Trail Maids. According to the Disney Parks Blog, Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny “will also join butterflies, flowers and dancing hippos for an Easter procession down Main Street, U.S.A.” While I have photos of the hippos from last year, I don’t see any of butterflies or flowers – so it sounds like there may be a few new aspects. We have videos from the last few years of the Easter Pre-Parade, here is the Easter Pre-Parade from 2012!

3/26 update –  I am adding more photos from this year – we went to both Epcot and the Magic Kingdom yesterday! The pre-parade portion without the Azalea Trail Maids is similar to previous years, but with the new elements of butterflies and flowers. I liked the new additions!  And Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny are giving out Limited Time Magic signature cards in the United Kingdom – these were not being handed out at the Magic Kingdom yesterday. There are different activities for kids in World Showcase, we just missed seeing them – but I took photos of the area and sign. We also have a Spring Fling video!

Here are photos from yesterday from both parks! The United Kingdom in World Showcase was our first stop:

Next, we moved over to the Magic Kingdom for the Easter pre-parade. We staked out a spot on Main Street for an hour, and then went to Frontierland once it passed (for a second angle). We weren’t sure how well the pre-parade would look without the Azalea Trail Maids since they are such a big part of it on Easter Day, but it was very nicely done. We have a video shot on Main Street U.S.A.!

This is the location – not far from Mission:Space – where the other Spring Fling Easter activities are held.

Also check out another great display at Walt Disney World for Easter, Disney’s Grand Floridian Chocolate Decorated Eggs

This should give you a good idea of what to expect! The nice thing about having activities all week is that guests at various Disney resorts can take part in many of the activities normally reserved for just Easter day in the parks, and then enjoy more of the Easter day activities and meet-and-greets at their own resort. I think that is a great bonus for those staying onsite!
