3/18 Vinylmation Easter Egg Hunt in World Showcase for Limited Time Magic (Spoilers)
Hi everyone!
I wanted to share some photos and thoughts of this week’s Limited Time Magic offering, the Vinylmation Easter Egg Hunt. This was the first day it was available.
This article is full of spoilers!
There were quite a few families participating, we don’t have kids but I was able to see and hear the reactions of the children playing – and all seemed to be having a great time.
We went to the Port of Entry store – actually, we first went to the Duffy Store because the Times Guide says that the store is near the Duffy the Disney Bear meet & greet, but the Vinylmation “Eggs-Perience” map and stickers can be bought at the other store – the one not near Duffy. The map and stickers also can be purchased in the International Gateway location. We paid $4.95 plus tax (no discounts available) and set off on the hunt. We’d already been tipped off by a friend that all of the eggs would be visible from the walkway around World Showcase – and that is true, with all the eggs being out of reach of guests. We found was that sometimes we could even see the eggs from other countries – like from Morocco, I could see the Germany egg. It would have been nice to have just a little more challenge.

Each egg has a character on it that corresponds to a sticker for the map. Mickey, Figment, Chip and Dale are some of the characters found around World Showcase. It isn’t necessary to find all the characters to receive your prize. Every country has an egg except for Mexico. The following photos are from all the locations in World Showcase, with all the eggs! Jeff shares the stickers as we progress.
I stopped to admire the new colorful fence around the Lotso topiary.
Back to more eggs, starting with Goofy.
As far as what we received – both of us prefer the map to the small Vinylmation Jr. Pair. There were 4 different Vinylmations that we could choose: Simba, Tinker Bell, Goofy and Donald. I thought they all looked pretty much the same, and ended up choosing Donald.
For the price of $4.95 it was a cute diversion in World Showcase. We do have a video that shows a little more detail!
The wording in this week’s Times Guide says “Starting Monday, you are invited on an Easter egg hunt through select Disney Parks! Search for hidden eggs, mark them with stickers provided on the special Eggs-perience Park map and return to one of the redemption locations for a special prize. You can purchase the special map and stickers for a nominal fee at Port of Entry near the Meet & Greet for Duffy by Showcase Plaza, or at International Gateway.
We are looking forward to Easter day – traditionally we spend it at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot!
