Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival 2013 – 300 Photos Showcasing Epcot Topiaries & Blooms
The walkway between Mouse Gear and the Odyssey has been a fairy garden for the last few years, but the fairies have moved to the Butterfly House and Radiator Springs Interactive Play Zone has taken their place. This area is open until the park closes, even the playground was open until 9 p.m. yesterday (subject to change). Mater and Lightning McQueen have moved around the park since their debut in 2011 – last year they were in Japan. There is an activity booklet that guests can get stamped around the park, I think the prize is a sticker. We didn’t finish our booklet yet. I do miss the fairy garden, I thought it was beautiful – but I also appreciate having topiary displays move around.
The topiaries are the main draw here, but there are some nice sitting areas as well. I think Disney did a great job with that this year, with garden settings for guests to relax. We have a video here!
We already have a Land of Oz Garden article up from a couple of weeks back. Here are a few photos, but you can ready more here about the playground based on Oz the Great and Powerful! This is the nicest playground of the three added for the Festival.
