2/28 Monsters University Topiary Display Adds Mike Wazowski for Epcot Flower & Garden Festival

Hi everyone!

The topiaries are being added fast and furiously, with Mike Wazowski being added today to the Monsters University display! It won't be long until Sully shows up. And more Pixar characters have appeared since yesterday – Buzz Lightyear, Mater and Lightning McQueen! Keep reading for photos.

This is our 6th year covering the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival! The Festival officially kicks off on March 6th, but flowers, displays and topiaries have been added over the last couple of weeks. I'm hoping Sully shows up in the next couple of days – I always get excited about new topiaries (or even new placement of older ones).

Monsters University will release in theaters on June 21st, 2013. Here is our video of the Monsters University topiary display!

I noticed Mater across the way in the "Radiator Springs" area that will feature Lightning McQueen and Friends (we found Lightning too!)

And we were expecting to see Stitch in front of Mission: Space, but we found Buzz Lightyear instead. Quite a few topiaries are in familiar places this year, but I really like seeing new spots for them. I think this is a better area for Buzz too! Check out our video!

 

 

 

If you've never been to Walt Disney World during the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, I can't recommend it more highly. It's a beautiful time in the park, my favorite event of the year. We will be sharing hundreds of photos, along with video and recommendations after the Festival officially begins!
