2/12 Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen Lead Mardi Gras Parade at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort

Hi everyone!

We had a full day yesterday, starting with Mardi Gras at Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside, followed by Disney Junior Live on Stage! at Disney's Hollywood Studios. This was our second year seeing the Mardi Gras parade at the resort, which is led by Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen riding in a horse and carriage.

We have a full video of the parade here, but also a shorter video of Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen singing "Going Down the Bayou" to me! The Mardi Gras parade at Disney's Port Orleans is a Cast Member parade, with decorated golf carts. This year's theme was 75 Years of Disney Animated Films. I'm not sure which cart was my favorite, but Dumbo and Wreck-It Ralph were two great ones

We went to three different areas to shoot the parade, the pictures are in order of time, not cart. It's nice having some of the carts from different vantage points! Beads and candy are thrown from the carts.
