11/29 – Disney’s Beach Club, Yacht Club, Boardwalk Holiday Displays Include Jack Sparrow, Tow Mater

Hi everyone!

A few days back, we spent the afternoon touring the holiday displays at the Epcot Resorts – Disney's Beach Club, Disney's Yacht Club, Disney's Boardwalk Resort, and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin. I'm sharing photos from the first three here, which include some great details! Tow Mater and Lightning McQueen, Jack Sparrow, and even a Star Wars reference are part of the displays!

I wrote a book last year called Christmas at Walt Disney World, I'm hoping next year to expand it into a larger format (and Kindle)!

Disney's Beach Club Resort has a lovely Gingerbread Carousel which is in it's 13th year. The horses are similar from year to year – but even when they have the same theme, the horse names change. Last year's "Holly" is now "Jolly". And last year's "Honor" is now "Patriot". I love the silhouette Mickey Mouse on the front of Ruby, and there are quite a few hidden Mickeys spread throughout the display! Characters such as Tinker Bell and Donald Duck are back, standing underneath the horses. Their clothes are different this year than in previous displays!

There are three smaller displays that flank the gingerbread carousel. One features the Yacht & Beach Club lighthouse, along with Captain Jack Sparrow! There are a plethora of details to look for.
