10/28 Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope Von Schweetz Meet & Greet – Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Hi everyone!

Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope Von Schweetz started greeting guests today at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! We went through the line a couple of times for photos and video, it wasn’t too busy – maybe a 15 minute wait each time. I would expect bigger lines once the movie officially opens!

There are a lot of details in the queue and on the display behind Ralph and Vanellope that will be more easily understood by those who have seen the film Wreck-It Ralph. I highly recommend it, I’ll be posting a film review this week! There has been a Wreck-It Ralph artwork display up inside the Animation Building since early August, which now also has a full-size Fix-It Felix game (though it didn’t seem to be working). The Animation building is also where Ralph and Vanellope are meeting, where Pooh and friends last were.

Check out our video of Ralph and Vanellope in action!

Upon arrival, guests enter “Game Central Station”, which is an integral part of the film.

There are a lot of details from the film, including a couple of cy-bugs – one inside the queue, and one right outside of it.

There are references to Tron and Star Wars on the display:

Ralph and Vanellope welcomed us to the game. One of my favorite details is the signatures on the car of Vanellope and Ralph. This is just like in the film.

It’s hard to see here, but Ralph’s overalls say “Wreck-It Ralph” on the back:

Some friends of ours noticed that Vanellope was spelled wrong here:

Wreck-It Ralph opens on November 2nd, and we recommend seeing it! And if you have a chance to meet Ralph and Vanellope, they were both a lot of fun.
