8/27 Disney’s Art of Animation Resort – Prince Eric Statue, King Triton on Notepad
Hi everyone!
This is a quick update of what is new at Disney's Art of Animation Resort in the Little Mermaid courtyard. If you want to see what is already there, you can check out my three photo tours of the resort, or our YouTube playlist of Disney's Art of Animation Resort!
The main changes since the last time we were there are that a Prince Eric statue in the courtyard, along with the unwrapping of Flounder (from plastic) and King Triton now on a notepad. There are also some fish we haven't seen before, and the tarp on the fence is now gone. From a distance, the Prince Eric statue reminds me of Mold-A-Rama!
This notepad isn't finished yet, but you can see that it has been started:
Mickey Halloween ears in the Ink and Paint Shop:
Ariel in the parking lot:
Our newest updates are here, including (currently) the Be Our Guest Restaurant sign! We will be bringing you full coverage next month of the Little Mermaid section at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. It is the last to open, and will consist of the only standard rooms at the resort. The three sections already opened – Lion King, Cars, and Finding Nemo – are all family suites.
