Phineas and Ferb Topiaries Debut at EPCOT (Photos from July 4th, 2012)
Hi everyone!
Phineas and Ferb debuted in topiary form in the breezeway of Epcot yesterday, between Future World and World Showcase! The duo has an elevated role at Epcot now that Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure has replaced the Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure.
Check out all the detail that went into creating these unique topiaries, from Phineas’s shirt and hair to Ferb’s belt buckle! This display was quite the guest magnet yesterday, even in the rain. It took until last year for Walt Disney World to have a Phineas and Ferb meet and greet, and now the duo also has an Epcot presence.
The 4th of July was a bit disappointing at Epcot this year, with no sign of Ben Franklin or Betsy Ross. The rain also kept the Voices of Liberty from playing their full patriotic concert for two of the planned shows. We did wait in line to see Chip and Dale in their patriotic costumes, and we have a few photos of Mickey, Donald and Goofy in theirs (we didn’t wait in the rain for them).
We are so used to seeing topiaries mainly during the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival, it’s nice to see Epcot adding this unique display for guests to enjoy now.
