Disney's Art of Animation Resort

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort – Cars Section Photo Tour of Radiator Springs, Cozy Cone Pool

We went back briefly to the Cozy Cone pool, I hadn’t noticed the first time that the gate was topped with sparks plugs:

The landscaping has a desert feel to it:

We went to the front of the resort, where Mater had just been added.

We found Lightning McQueen and Sally at the last moment, as we were driving out of the resort. There are some finishing touches to the sidewalk happening here, and I’m not sure if we could have accessed it by foot (but it will be accessible).

Three sections of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort encompass family suites – Cars, Nemo, and the upcoming Lion King buildings. The only area of the resort that will not be suites is the Little Mermaid section, with standard rooms and exterior hallways like the other value resorts. Each of the suites has a wet bar with a microwave and a small refrigerator, one bedroom (but sleeping for up to 6) and 2 bathrooms. When I was a Disney specialist travel agent, the one thing I heard from guests most is that they needed more living space together. Disney has delivered, and in a way that upgrades the meaning of the term “Value Resort”.

Within a day, I should have the Finding Nemo section up (along with the lobby).
