5/18 Star Wars Weekends Opening Day – Motorcade, Stars of the Saga, Hyperspace Hoopla, More!
The line for Ray Park's Visit to the Maul show was VERY long! The first year he debuted it, we were able to get in without as much wait. But it's definitely worth seeing!
I took a quick Muppet shop break (there are now 5 winter hats available, we have Kermit and Beaker!)
Asajj Ventress from The Clone Wars signs autgraphs next to the Premier Theater:
I was asked on Twitter yesterday what two shows I would recommend most. That is a very hard question!
One would be Obi-Wan and Beyond with James Arnold Taylor. That is probably my favorite show. But A Visit to the Maul is terrific if you happen to be here when Ray Park is. And we first learned about The Clone Wars here at Star Wars Weekends when Behind the Force debuted. Voice acting really is an art form, and guests like Dee Bradley Baker (who voices Perry the Platypus from Phineas and Ferb) are so talented. Last but not least, who could miss the stormtrooper skit? So it's a hard choice if you only want 2 shows out of 4!
I love the Darth Maul Donald Duck merchandise!
It was about to rain, so I started heading to the Darth's Mall.
I made a quick stop in Villains in Vogue and found this great top hat for Nightmare Before Christmas fans – the same size as the Alice in Wonderland themed ones.

Darth's Mall is behind the Tower of Terror. Even if you don't want to buy anything, it's a nice vantage point for Tower of Terror photos!
