Disney’s Beach Club Gingerbread Carousel, Yacht Club Train Display and Christmas Decorations

Hi everyone!

For the fifth year in a row, I've taken photos of the various displays around Walt Disney World property. There have been so many changes at the Boardwalk area resorts this year! Today I'm sharing photos and video of the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, tomorrow I'll be adding a photo article that includes the Boardwalk, Swan and Dolphin Resorts!

Christmastime is my favorite time of year around Walt Disney World, I can't believe that we are already nearly halfway through the season! There is so much to see and do.

We just put out our first book, Christmas at Walt Disney World! Your purchase helps support Mousesteps! We are also partners as of today with Fairy Godmother Travel. I'll be writing more about that tomorrow, but I highly recommend them if you are looking to book a Disney vacation (I used to work at a different travel agency with Theresa, the owner). Tell them that Denise from Mousesteps sent you!

We haven't yet taken photos inside the Beach Club Villas, but we will soon. Here is a photo from the outside:

The Beach Club Resort's centerpiece is the Gingerbread Carousel, which features horses with names that change each year. This year, one horse is named Captain – and is patriotic themed, so he's Captain America! The horse that was named Jack last year (after Jack Frost) is Wonderland – like winter wonderland. There are two Tinker Bell figures, one on the top and one on the base. The Fab 5 are also on the base, underneath the horses. In the lobby, there are trees, wreaths and garland with a sea theme.
