11/22 Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights Photos – Disney’s Hollywood Studios 2011
Hi everyone!
Yesterday we took a walk around the Boardwalk to view this year's holiday displays before heading to the Osborne Lights for the evening. It was a gorgeous night, and we plan to head back to the resorts tomorrow for extensive photos and video! But for now, you can enjoy our Osborne Lights coverage!
We just released a paperback book about Christmas around the Disney parks and resorts, with photos that range from the 1990's until now. I wanted it to be small enough to take around property when looking for more current displays I wrote about.
Christmas at Walt Disney World
Before diving into the Osborne Light photos, I wanted to share a handful that I took around the resorts last night. We'll have a full update on them this week! This is the fifth year that Mousesteps is covering the holidays, but I've enjoyed them for so much longer than that.
Tower of Terror:
At Disney's Boardwalk Resort, Stitch is now the emphasis of the gingerbread display. There is also "Stitch's Bakery", a new – and huge! – gingerbread house that sells gingerbread houses and stollen (but not any individual items right now). Donald is now moving as part of the display as he roasts over the fire!

There are some differences also with the Beach Club Gingerbread Carousel, and we'll be detailing those this week:
And for the first time in years, there were quite a few differences in the Yacht Club train set. Disney definitely keeps me on my toes with the displays – just when I think I know one well, the display changes!
Now on to the Osborne Lights! I always start near the beautiful Nativity Scene, this area tends to be less crowded.
