Mickey’s Backyard BBQ Review, Fort Wilderness (Halloween Night 2011)

We have video from Mickey's Backyard BBQ here!

These were the two plates of food I had, not including one piece of chicken. I like the food at the Hoop-Dee-Doo better, but nearly everything we had at Mickey's Backyard Barbecue was enjoyable.

Most of the evening, the dance floor was filled with guests. But there were a cowboy performer with a lasso and whip during a couple of different intervals, and everyone seemed entertained.

Someone at our table said they'd seen a great looking costume of Pocohantas – turned out, she and Meeko had arrived when we weren't looking.

It has been many, many years since I've bought a Mickey Mouse ice cream bar (I can't even remember the last time I purchased one). They were included in the price, so we each enjoyed one for dessert.

In a very odd performance, the cowboy hits Goofy with a whip:

Just when we thought we'd seen the last of the characters, Wendell and Big Al from the Country Bear Jamboree arrived:

This is my wine glass next to the ice tea glass, to give an idea how big it was. The plastic wine glass was significantly larger than what you'd find at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival.

This was the last dance of the night, a conga line with all the characters:

At this time, all of the food was removed (without a final call), you'd not even have known the night was about to end yet since nothing was announced.
