LEGOLAND Florida Grand Opening Celebration and Entrance Photos

Hi everyone!

We had the tremendous opportunity to be invited to spend 2 days at LEGOLAND Florida as part of their media event/Grand Opening celebration. It's going to take at least a week to post all the photos and videos that we'd like to, but keep watching as we add more coverage of this new park!

The drive to LEGOLAND Florida is an easy one for us, most of it along US 27. There were many billboards/signs as we drove closer to the park, with this one outside of LEGOLAND:

 

 

The entrance to LEGOLAND is colorful – and I love the nods to Cypress Gardens in the park, including the Southern belle at the entrance. The whimsical LEGO "Welcome" sign and LEGO displays throughout the park also seem very durable, I watched kids climbing all over everything that was accessible to them (and even one child admonishing his brother to not be so hard on one figure, since it took so much work to create it).

 

 

 

October 14th was primarily a media day, and the crowds were very light. We were heading straight to the Grand Opening Celebration.
