Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic Photos 2011 – Great Food, Todd English and More!

The skies darkened quickly:

Once it started raining, we ducked into the tent. Todd English arrived a little later as well. We didn't stay here too long, it was crowded – so we headed inside the Swan for a half hour or so.

As the rain cleared, it was time for dessert! The centerpiece of Laurent Branlard's desserts was the Banana Foster Station, but there were so many goodies to try. I didn't sample everything – I was too full, but I had a little of many of the items we picked up. My favorite was the cream puff.

We hung out until 1am, stopping at Kimonos after the Food & Wine Classic ended – it was quite lively inside the restaurant, with karoake being sung from 10pm – 2am. I didn't eat anything here, but everyone else split some sushi!

We did receive this event for free, but we'd pay for tickets otherwise. The resort package is a tremendous value, as are the wristbands for the Causeway! If I had one thing I'd like to see added, it'd be another couple of food stations. The quality and portion sizes were impressive. While the Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic officially ran for 3 1/2 hours (from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.), it opened early and served later.  So – if you go, get there a little early just in case! I personally hope it's expanded to two weekends next year (or anytime in the future) so more guests can experience this tremendous dining extravaganza.
