D23 Expo 2011 – Mickey Mouse Talks to Us! (Talking, Interactive Mickey Mouse)

Hi everyone!

The D23 Expo is over, but I'll be adding articles as time permits over the next week or two.

We'd given up on the second Expo day of seeing any seminars without a lengthy wait, and spent most of our time on the show floor or in the Carousel of Projects. 

For those who didn't go, the Carousel of Projects was a terrific roundup of different projects from around the Disney universe. The Disney Cruise Line, DCA's Carsland, Walt Disney World's Fantasyland Expansion and so much more were represented in this area. Everyone in our group was interested in seeing the talking Mickey, as we hadn't met him yet.

A more advanced Mickey had been there the day before (I didn't see him), this one had a very limited range of what he could say. And when our friend Ryan went up to him, Mickey said "sure, let's take another picture!". Ryan hadn't yet met Mickey, so it makes me laugh to see that on our video. It was still very interesting to see Mickey talking to guests, he drew a large crowd of guests to see him.
